Leading New Zealand syndicator Te Akau Racing is on the verge of having their first Australian runner from their new Australian training establishment based at Cranbourne, Victoria.
Star mare Imperatriz is first up in the Group 2 McEwan Stakes at Moonee Valley on Saturday. In a star studded field she will be up against Everest winner Giga Kick and star Queenslanders Rothfire and Zoustyle.
