Flying Start Syndications has a knack for finding tried horses from the southern states and bringing them up to Queensland for immediate success.
At just his second start in Queensland after a luckless second at the Gold Coast on debut for his new owners, Run For Glory defied a torrid run in transit to storm down the outside and win the final race on the Sunshine Coast card under lights yesterday.
In what looks like being yet another great buy by Flying Start Syndications, the son of Olympic Glory appears to have a very bright future in the sunshine state. His jockey Baylee Nothdurft was full of praise for the three year old gelding saying "It was a super win and for him to win the way he did with 59.5kg was a big effort".
He's an absolute gentleman around the stables and his trainer Tony Gollan is impressed with the way he has fitted into the stable routine and his trackwork has been first class. Tony isn't sure how far he will get, but from what he has seen so far he is excited that he has another quality galloper on his hands.
BNE racing was there at the Sunshine Coast to create a raceday video for his owners and it was terrific to see him win for our client Flying Start Syndications.
